Compact Design
XP-640 using five separate ink cartridges with ink cyan, magenta yellow and black ink is equipped with the traditional ‘ black ‘ photographs which help improve contrast and color in prints. Epson XP 640 also supports the printing of duplex (two-sided), so that would certainly be flexible enough for most home users. We did have a few minor complaints. Tray paper feels very light and thin and somewhat confusing Setup. However, it’s not a major weakness, and Epson XP 640 produce quality prints. 1440x5760dpi ensure that the resolution text output was approaching the quality of the laser so that it will work well for letters, reports, and other documents. And, of course, a five-ink system makes sure the photos are very sharp and colorful graphics and colors.
It’s not too soon for business use (and this is not meant for this), but the print speed of 12ppm for plain text and 8ppm for mixed text and images should be adequate for most printing routine at home.
Printing photos a bit sluggish. Epson CITES speed of 20 seconds to print a postcard 6x4in, but our test prints take 45 seconds when using settings ‘ quality standard ‘, and 75 minutes for ‘ high quality.’ Even so, the sharp photographer probably won’t wait a few seconds longer to get this kind of photo printing quality.
However, operational costs a bit mixed, even if you use the cartridge high yield the most significant power on the Epson. A complete set of the four ink photo size XL achieve £62.96 and must survive for 650 pages, which works on 9.7 p per page.
Considering that it includes black ink-additional photos, but mono-printing proved to be relatively expensive. XL black cartridge priced £17.99, but only survived for a more straightforward page 530, giving price above average 3, 4 p per page for pure text documents. Fortunately, the fifth does not sell the Epson ink simultaneously as ‘ multi-packages,’ so if you buy a shop around online retailers such as Amazon, then you should be able to lower your costs around 3 p for mono, and 9 p to color, a little more entry sense.

How to Install
